Performance is key for the Audi A5 lineup. The A5 is equipped with the award-winning Audi 2.0L TFSI® engine, a fuel-sipping, yet torque laden powerplant that generates 211 hp at 4,300 rpm and 258 lb-ft of torque at 1,500 rpm. The Coupe offers the choice of a precise six-speed manual transmission or an available Tiptronic® eight-speed automatic transmission.

The Cabriolet model comes standard with an Audi FrontTrak® front-wheel drive, multitronic® continuously variable transmission, with a Tiptronic eight-speed available on quattro® models. Audi drive select with electronically adjusts suspension dampening while a sport suspension calibration features stiffer springs, dampening tuning and a 20mm lower height.

The A5 is distinctively Audi, evident prominently in the Singleframe® grille. It presents a low and muscular stance, with an extended roofline and sharply carved contours that compel the eye to take in its sleek shape. The unmistakable LED daytime running lights for which Audi is known add to the character of the Audi A5. It embodies all of the styling elements of a sport coupe, executed in Audi design language. The Cabriolet presents a complete design with beautiful side profile lines that blend with the soft top to maintain its coupe DNA. Lower the roof (at speeds up to 30 mph), and the vehicle conveys a sense of speed and freedom with four seats.

The interior of the Audi A5 does not disappoint, with an ergonomic interior designed around passenger comfort. The Audi A5 features high-quality leathers, including available leather / Alcantara® seating surfaces. Aluminum or available wood inlays add the Audi touch of elegance.
Available driver convenience technologies, such as Audi MMI® Navigation plus, Audi MMI Radio plus, and Audi music interface, add pure enjoyment to the driving experience. Entertainment is provided by an Audi six-channel stereo system with ten speakers, or an available Bang & Olufsen® 505-watt, 14 speaker sound system (twelve speakers in the Cabriolet). A complimentary three-month SiriusXM™ Satellite Radio trial subscription also is included.
