New for 2012, the Chrysler 200 sedan sports two new exterior colors, Crystal Blue Pearl Coat, and Deep Auburn, as well as new, lower, entry level pricing. The 2012 Chrysler 200 has a starting U.S. Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $18,995 (excluding $750 destination).

The 2012 Chrysler 200 exterior design highlights a sculpted front fascia, clean surfaces and sleek lines. Distinctive features like the Chrysler brand grille with the signature Chrysler winged badge, LED accent light pipe above the headlamps, projector fog lamps and LED taillamps round out the vehicle resulting in a design that’s elegant and refined.
The beautifully crafted interior wraps the driver and passengers in a level of quality materials, craftsmanship and content that is world-class. The 2012 Chrysler 200 is offered with the proven 2.4-liter World Gas Engine and is available mated to a four-speed or six-speed automatic transmission, for an exceptionally fun and fuel-efficient driving experience. The 2.4-liter I-4 engine produces 173 horsepower (129 kW) and 166 lb.-ft. (225 N•m) of torque and has an EPA estimated fuel economy rating of 21 miles per gallon (mpg) city and 30 mpg highway mated to four-speed automatic transmission and 20 mpg city and 31 mpg highway when mated to the six-speed automatic transmission. The available 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine, one of Ward’s “10 Best Engines”, provides an even more exhilarating driving experience that offers customers the best of both worlds – exceptional V-6 horsepower and fuel economy. The new 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine is mated to the 62TE six-speed automatic transmission and produces 283 horsepower (211 kW) and 260 lb.-ft. (353 Nm) of torque. It has an EPA estimated fuel economy rating of 19 mpg city and 29 mpg highway.

The 2012 Chrysler 200 sedan is available in four different configurations in the United States. The Chrysler 200 LX, 200 Touring, 200 Limited and 200 S models are packed with style, innovative features and a dynamic driving experience, at an excellent value.
The 2012 Chrysler 200 LX model has a starting U.S. MSRP of $18,995 (excluding $750 destination) and is powered by the 2.4-liter I-4 engine mated to a four-speed automatic transmission. Standard equipment includes five-year 100,000-mile powertrain warranty, advanced multistage front driver and passenger air bags, supplemental front-seat mounted air bags, active head restraints, four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes, electronic stability control, electronic traction control, illuminated, keyless entry, security alarm, speed control, power locks, power windows, rear window defroster, power trunk lid release, acoustic laminated glass front windshield and driver and front passenger windows, bi-functional halogen projector headlamps, heated, fold-away mirrors, 17-in. steel wheels, air conditioning, manual driver’s seat height/lumbar support, Media Center 130 CD/MP3 radio, steering wheel mounted audio controls, audio jack input for mobile devices, tilt/telescoping steering wheel, ambient LED lighting and 60/40 folding rear seat.
In addition to the standard features included on the LX model, the 2012 Chrysler 200 Touring model includes: 2.4-liter I-4 engine mated to a six-speed automatic transmission, 17-inch aluminum wheels, eight-way power driver’s seat, Electronic Vehicle Information Center (EVIC) and trip computer, six
speakers, automatic temperature control, automatic headlamps, premium headliner with universal garage door opener, leather-wrapped steering wheel, leather-wrapped shift knob with chrome accent, SiriusXM Satellite Radio and tire-pressure monitor display.
The 2012 Chrysler 200 Limited provides the standard equipment found on the Touring model as well as: heated front seats, leather seating, Media Center 430 CD/DVD/40 gigabyte hard drive with 28 gb of available storage touch screen radio, Uconnect hands free phone, iPod connector, fog lamps, 18-inch polished aluminum wheels and remote start.
With a style and attitude all its own, the 2012 Chrysler 200 S model offers the standard features of the Limited model as well as standard 3.6-liter V-6 Pentastar engine mated to a six-speed automatic transmission, dual bright exhaust tips, premium Boston Acoustics sound system, leather, heated “S” front seats with suede inserts, perforated leather-wrapped steering wheel, 18-inch S polished aluminum wheels with black painted pockets, body color mirrors and door handles, S grille with black painted bars, S headlamps with black background, S fog lamp bezels and unique Chrysler winged badge with black inlay.
