Bentley has shined as it always does by bringing a piece of luxury and exclusivity at the 64th edition of the Frankfurt Motor Show, where the newest British model in the lineup, the facelifted version of the Continental GTC, was revealed, with some design modifications along with several technical improvements.
With the Continental GT getting a facelift it seemed normally that the GTC will also get a refresh with the LED front headlamps, a design inspired by the Mulsanne, a more appealing interior and more power under the hood, along with improved CO2 emissions, because apparently if you drive a W12 you so concerned in saving the trees.
The “new” version of the Continental GTC is still powered by a 6.0 liter W12 engine which is now delivering 15 horsepower and 50 Nm more, bringing it to a total of 575 HP and 700 Nm of torque, mated to a six-speed automatic transmission with QuickShift available.
The interior design has also been improved with fine leather and wood trims, along with special metal insertions, but customers of the new Continental GTC will have to choose between 17 shades of leather with six-color combinations and seven different wood ornaments.
Last but not least, the newest model in Bentley’s lineup is now sitting on 20 inch rims with 21 inch available as an option. Even if the automaker didn’t announce an exact price for the new Continental GTC, the luxurious car is expected to cost over 200.000 euros.
